Cinder-Block Rocket Stove

    Make the L

    Stand one block on end and lay one on its side in front so the openings form an L-shaped tunnel.

    Build the chimney

    Stack two more blocks vertically on top of the standing block to make a tall chimney.

    Add a grate

    Set a metal grate across the top with a gap so hot air can escape around the pot.

    Feed from the side

    Push sticks into the horizontal opening. The draft pulls air in and burns fuel completely.
